What you get

Video files land directly in the folder you choose, with no intermediate storage.
A per-link result table: downloaded or not, and the reason when it failed.
A check-only mode: find out whether a link can still be downloaded without downloading it.

How it works

Paste a list of links, up to 30 per run, and choose the save folder.

XHS downloads up to 3 links at once, each for at most 15 minutes.

XHS checks each file before reporting success, then moves it into your folder.

Current limits

Currently runs on Windows.
Links that need a login, such as private videos or closed groups, are not supported yet.
If you stop midway, XHS deletes the files of that run instead of keeping half-finished ones. Files you already had are never touched.

Does this module cost anything?

It is free for now and never uses up a run.

Which sites work?

XHS uses yt-dlp, an open-source tool that supports many sites. Whether a link works depends on the link itself, and the result table says which links failed and why.

Do videos pass through XHS's server?

No. XHS downloads straight to your machine over your own network. The server is only asked to check your account.
